no more sleeps!!!

that's right, no more sleeps :) anisia and ellie have finally been reunited :D danny boi is here too, and we're having a ball :D
for thanksgiving (the 24th) i had a fun party with james and his family (cousins, aunties, uncles, granparents and his mum and step-dad). we ate turkey and lots of yummies and then went to visit his dad. the next morning we drove home to ann arbor (1.5 hours) and i began to bust with excitement about neish and danny's arrival!!! WOHOO!
so we picked neish and danny up at the airport, showed neish some snow, hung around at home chatting and then went out to check out the rock gym :) we wanted to check it out while james was still here. didn't go climbing, but watched jesse and james. i hopped on the wall like 3 times. hoping to go back, but we'll see. we planned to go see harry after that, but it was booked out half an hour before we got there. apparently thanksgiving weekend is popular for movies. instead, we went downtown and saw the fairy lights in mainstreet, some carol singers, a flame thrower and an elvis impersonator....ahh the culture of ann arbor. lois and roberta treated us to hot chocolates to thaw our freezing fingers, and then we headed home.
yesterday we had danny's reunion and met a whole heap of his family (many of whom i'd met at a wedding earlier this semester). people came around to our house afterwards, where i got to talk to a Christian clown artist (danny's mum's cousin) and then we headed off to my church. we had intended for an early night, but hey, it's been a long time ;) so danny and i stayed up chatting until the wee hours.
this morning was a brunch with the rellies before they headed to their respective homes, and now we're downtown checking out the place. tonight i have 'girls' group' and 'snl', so neish and danny are going to help out with some youth events....
what's on the agenda next? harry potter, ethiopian food, uni with ellie, and wine and cheese tasting. at some point they're going to see a farm whilst i'm at school :)
