A few weeks ago now (December 17?) Rachael and Tyson were in town for one of their siblings' 30th birthday. This fortunately coincided with our holidays! Rach and Tys took us down to the Central Markets and bought some yummy Wagyu Beef, Blue Cheese, fancy wine, and some veggies. They cooked it up for us and this is the end result! Very very yummy!
The photo doesn't do it much justice, but we assure you that it was tasty! After dinner we went for a big walk around the neighborhood - what our German friends would call 'a digestive walk'. Once we had our stomach’s settled, Tyson felt inspired. No trip to Adelaide at Christmas time would be complete without a visit to the West End Brewery 'Fantasy Land'...to be honest, it was a little bit odd. Giant timber cuttings of mythical creatures and fictional characters including Santa, Mary Mary (the one who was quite contrary), Dorothy (and her Lion, Tin man and Scare-crow), and Volcon!
Trying to decide how to top the Wagyu beef for dessert, we realised Ellie has been raving about the Elephant Walk cafe for years but Tys and Rach had never been! It was splendid. Luckily none of us are claustrophobic - the whole cafe is smaller then most people's bathrooms. But we had some great desserts and drinks there and a great opportunity to catch up. Pictured below is an eight year old we know who looks remarkably like Tyson - this fun character makes an appearance most nights we see him. He is enjoying a fancy Apple crumble and Chocolate Milkshake.

Wow - I feel, like, totally famous! Ciao everyone... Thanks for this magnificent recollection - brings back all those wonderful memories! (And poor Jordan's indigestion...)
Love you both heaps. Happy new year! Rach.
