Yep, Christmas has arrived again in the Whittaker household. Rachael came to stay for Tyson's book launch (as she did last year) but we didn't get to put the tree up together (as we did last year) due to a cocolat overdose...
So anyway, Rachael left (we had a WONDERFUL time with her and Tyson) and then on Sunday whilst we were shopping (trying to get Christmas shopping done EARLY) I mentioned how it just doesn't feel like Christmas until "Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas" is blasting in the lounge room...and my sneaky and cute husband snuck to the shops and bought it for us. Once dinner was served and the wine was out he pushed play and we 'cheers-ed' to Christmas. Since we had the CD we HAD to put the tree up, along with our wise men and Tyson and Rach's nativity set :) I know it's a 'pagan' tradition but it certainly gets me excited about Jesus' birth.
A special thanks to Jade Keightley for giving me the Mariah Carey tape in 1994...it was my first tape :)
Three weeks until Queensland!!!! :D And yes, we'll probably take the tree down again before the 16th...haha.
